With over 30 years of background in specialized translation, interpreting, and multilingual corporate communication, Hilingua serves companies, institutions, and private clients around the globe.
Isabel received comprehensive training in translation/interpreting, international trade, IT, and global banking, and spent many years working professionally in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, and the USA. In 1991, she founded her first translation agency and quickly built a reputation for high-quality, business-focused translations tailored to the needs of international corporate clients. Since becoming a sworn translator and interpreter in 1993, she has worked regularly for courts and public authorities in Germany and abroad.
Following her time in the financial sector in Brussels and New York, Isabel specialized in the translation and editing of financial documents, collaborating for many years with the world’s largest agency for financial publishing, and serving high-profile clients such as Citi, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Natixis, Julius Baer, Morningstar, and EADS Airbus.
Since 2013, the agency has been operating under the name Hilingua, positioning itself as a modern language service provider for precise technical translations, legal documents, business communication, financial texts, and multilingual content strategies.
